Wheaton, Ill. - Wheaton College junior men's tennis player
Ryan Kreis has been selected to participate in the upcoming NCAA Division III Men's Tennis Singles Championships, beginning May 23 in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Kreis becomes the first individual from Wheaton to participate in the Division III Men's Tennis Singles Championships since Josh Williams
earned a selection in 2007.
Kreis posted an 18-1 record this season as Wheaton 's number-one singles player and was ranked fifth in the Division III Central Region in the most recent Intercollegiate Tennis Association
(ITA) rankings. Kreis posted a 3-1 record this spring against other Central Region opponents and he was 2-0 against participants in the Division III Singles Championships.
