Wheaton, Ill. -
The 2012-13 academic year for Wheaton student-athletes has just ended and three Wheaton wrestlers have been spending time training for the 2013-14 season at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Thunder wrestlers Dan Olsen; Matt McCrary and Mark Savenok  have been at the center for training in the past week.

Dan Olsen, a 2013 Division III All-American at 184-pounds, was at the training center for a Greco University session for wrestlers between the ages of 18 and 27 and are currently enrolled in college. Olsen's session is a training camp with the United States, Serbian, Lithuanian, and Hungarian Senior Greco teams.  The camp ran from May 12-18 at the training center. Matt McCrary and Mark Savenok are at the center training with the Freestyle OTC Resident Team from May 13-21.

Thunder head coach Jim Greunwald, a former U.S. Olympic wrestler, says of the experience for the trio, "This is huge for all three. Dan has aspirations of being an Olympic Champion. Matt and Mark will gain confidence and technical skills training at the highest level this country has to offer."
