Wheaton, Ill.- Wheaton senior Marissa Shults has been named this week's CCIW Player of the Week, as announced by the conference office Wednesday morning. The CCIW Champion at #4 singles, this is Shults' first Player of the Week honor this season and she is the third team member to win the award this season.

Shults went 2-0 during the Thunder's 7-2 win over Luther College on April 13. She defeated Katy Lindstrom (6-0, 6-2) at No. 4 singles, and teamed with Kirsten Boyer at No. 2 doubles and defeated Lindstrom and Annie Whiteley (8-3).
