Wheaton, Ill.- Wheaton junior Ryan Kreis has named the CCIW Men's Tennis Player of the Week, as announced by the conference office on Wednesday afternoon.

Kreis went 5-1 over the weekend. He finished 3-0 at No. 1 singles including wins against Wisconsin-Whitewater's Byron Balkin (6-2, 6-2), Wisconsin-Oshkosh's Bobby Brooks (6-3, 6-3) and Grinnell's Elliot Czarnecki (6-2, 6-1). Kreis then teamed with Josh Ward at No. 1 doubles and defeated Grinnell (8-3) and Wisconsin-Oshkosh (8-6), but fell to Wisconsin-Whitewater (9-8(6)).
