Wheaton, Ill. - Wheaton College swimmers Carlie Herich and Korey Clement were named the CCIW Swimmers of the Week on Tuesday.

Clement, a freshman, set a personal record in the 1,000-yard freestyle (10:03.48) during a quad meet with Kalamazoo, Hope and Lake Forest on Saturday. Clement's time was only 0.41 seconds behind the winner. He added his best un-tapered time in the 500-yard freestyle (4:52.22) to finish third.

Herich (PICTURED BELOW), a sophomore, set a new meet record in the 1,000-yard freestyle (10:33.23) during Wheaton's quad meet with Kalamazoo, Hope and Lake Forest on Saturday. She also won the 200-yard backstroke with an un-tapered best time of 2:10.97.
