Wheaton, Ill. - Wheaton College's Elisabeth Potts was named College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Women's Basketball Player of the Week on Monday.

Potts, a sophomore forward, helped lead the Thunder to a pair of CCIW victories last week as she averaged 12 points and six rebounds per game, with a 53.3 percent (eight-of-15) field goal percentage. On Tuesday night, Wheaton defeated Augustana 77-67 as Potts scored a career-high 13 points, with three three-pointers. On Saturday, the Thunder rallied to earn a 58-57 victory at North Park as the sophomore scored 11 points and also collected a career-high nine rebounds.

So far this season, Potts has played in 13 games with 11 starts and is averaging 7.2 points and 4.0 rebounds per game. She is also third on the team in field goal percentage at .478 (32 of 67).
