North Chicago, Ill. - The Wheaton College women's golf team shot a team score of 335 at the one-day Robert Morris College Fall Classic on Friday.
Wheaton tied for second overall in the 13-team field. For the CCIW schools involved, Carthage College won the tournament with a 330 and was followed by Wheaton (335), North Central College (336) and Elmhurst College (340).
The one-day invite at Foss Park Golf Course allowed a six-person lineup where four scores counted towards the team tally.
Casi Blanton and
Brittany Bronson (PICTURED) both led the way with 82.
Rachel Beveridge shot 85,
Kate Ryan and
Rachel Carlson carded 86, and
Debby Bouzeos tallied a 90.
The Thunder also brought three individuals, including
Sarah Moore (86),
Ellie Moore (88) and
Michelle Morency (106).
Wheaton returns to action on Tuesday at the North Central Cardinal Invitational.
