Wheaton, Ill. - Wheaton College's Sara Federschmidt earned the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Women's Tennis Player of the Week on Tuesday.

Federschmidt won both her matches against Luther at No. 5 singles and No. 3 doubles on Saturday. She defeated Elise Allen 6-0, 6-3 at No. 5 singles, then teamed with Jill Casserly to defeat Fran Fairfield and Cami Czech 8-4 at No. 3 doubles. Federschmidt remains undefeated in singles play (8-0) and has only one loss in doubles play this season (6-1). She is a geology major.
