Jacobs and Conger named CCIW Swimmers of the Week

Bethany Jacobs and
Preston Conger were named College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Swimmers of the Week on Tuesday.
Jacobs, a senior from Wheeling, Ill., had an un-tapered best time of 25.1 in the 50-yard freestyle against Calvin, and swam an un-tapered best time of 1:12.89 in the 100-yard breaststroke against Wisconsin-Milwaukee over the weekend. Jacobs is an Applied Health and Science major.
Conger, a freshman from Ann Arbor, Mich., replaced the injured Jonathan Nitz on the medley relay against Wisconsin-Milwaukee over the weekend, finishing with a split best un-tapered time of 59.3. He then won the open 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:01.1. Against Calvin, Conger won the 100-yard butterfly with another un-tapered best time of 53.5. Conger is a Bible/Theology major.
